Bloops: Nine More Outs Takes on the Boston Red Sox

Posted by Neil Paine on May 26, 2011

Nine More Outs is a group of three guys -- two Mets fans and a Yankee fan -- who go to various ballparks and act as though they are the home team's biggest fans for 1 game. (You may remember them from this post last year.) This time around, they visited Fenway Park in the guise of die-hard Nation members.

Of course, they used the old Red Sox logo. FAIL.

(Don't worry, I'm not going to claim anyone's using steroids in this comment.)

  2. Neil L. Says:

Losers! Just go cheer for your own team.

    What the heck?

  3. Aryo Seno Says:

  4. Gita Nurani Says:

    Go go go yankee

  5. Joe Garrison Says:

I just watched a two minute video of Red Sox fans pounding a teddy bear.

I want those two minutes of my life back.

There other videos are much better. I particularly enjoy the Pittsburgh Pirates one where they go around asking fans, "Who is batting cleanup today for the Pirates?". The most common answer is LaRoche, but they say that is incorrect, the correct answer is "Does it really matter?"

That sounds a lot less like "acting as though they are the home team's biggest fans for 1 game" and a lot more like being a prick.
