Consecutive losses with at least 2 homers

Since 1956, here are the most consecutive losses a team has had with at least 2 HR:

Let me explain what this actually means. For the search, I did a team batting streak finder, considered only losses, and then looked for losses with at least 2 HR. So don't confuse this with most consecutive games with 2 HR that were losses. The streaks above might include games in between that were wins, and those wins might have featured 2 HR or more.

My point in doing the search was to show, unsurprisingly, that these streaks are all recent, in an era when hitting 2 homers in a game as a team is far more common than it used to be (and less likely to lead to a team victory.)

Here is what you might have thought I was searching for. These are consecutive games that were all losses and all featured 2+ HR for the losing team:

Team StreakStart Streak End Games W L AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SO BB SB CS BA OBP SLG OPS Opponents

So the KC streak is the only one from the original search still standing.

Nice. There's something wrong with the links (or my computer) as they failed to take me anywhere. I wanted to look at that Milwaukee streak in 2001, where they scored 37 runs in 4 games and lost all 4.

Gerry - They are games 152-155 on this page.
The Brewers lost 15-9, 13-11, 6-5 and 14-12. After all that futile scoring they gave up and lost the next 2 games 10-0 and 5-1.

Its not surprising to note that the 4 game streak consisted of games in Arizona and Colorado.
