Shane Victorino’s backwards throw

Posted by Andy on October 5, 2011

Shane Victorino is a great player but I couldn't help but mention this "incredible" throw he made in tonight's game. Everybody slips sometimes.

    Just for the record, that was not me at the game today, or yesterday.....

    Packers vs Bears, MNF Halloween 1994. 30+ mph winds at Soldier field, Bears punters kicks it right into the wind and it blows over his head for a -19 yard punt. (This is all from memory, I cant find any NFL play-by-play data anywhere from 1994, does it even exist?)

    I don't care how much Stu Miller wants to play it down, the '61 All-Star game still gets brought up a dozen times a year during Giants broadcasts.

    The link here for {this "incredible" throw} seems to go to David Freese's two run HR, not Victorino's non-throw.

    @2/ Topper009 - I vaguely remember that, too.

    Looks like MLB.com changed up the videos. Here is the correct link:

    @5/ Sorry Andy, but I keep getting the Freese HR when I click on that link.

    I do too. It's their interface. Just scroll through the videos at the bottom until you see about Victorino's play.
