I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

On a related topic, here are the lowest game scores for a starting pitcher who was awarded a win (since 1954, of course). Some really bad games there, with good run support early on.

"lasted two innings or less and walked seven or more" ... I think you mean allowed 7 or more runs, none of these pitchers walked more than 2.

Wow, my mistake ... looked at the stat line wrong. It isn't lining up correctly in my browser.

It looks screwy on my browser too.
