Every year, The Book co-author Tom Tango comes out with a ballot whereby fans of a specific team are asked to vote on the defensive ability of that team's players -- without the aid of statistics. It's called the Fans' Scouting Report, and the results are always very informative; in fact, when used in concert with one of the more advanced defensive metrics out there, I believe that you can get a very accurate read on a player's defensive skill level. But in order to get said results, many fans have to vote (and vote honestly). So grab a ballot and get to work on your favorite team's players... With your help, this year's Souting Report will be the best yet.
