One of the links on the front page is to this page which tracks changes in attendance from last year to this year. What I like about this table is that it matches up the first six games of last year with the first six games of this year rather than looking at the dates. So far Minnesota is unsurprisingly way ahead of last year with 38k/game. Atlanta (thank you Jason Heyward) has also seen a resurgence.

A few other things could be affecting the numbers this early on: I would expect teams with fewer overall home games to have higher average attendances due to the magnified effect of the huge opening day bump, and those teams who have hosted bigger drawing teams (i.e. more people want to see a team host the Yankees than the Blue Jays (no offense meant Toronto)) should also have higher average attendances at this point.

The Eyjafjallajökull Effect probably won't be setting in till next week, I'd guess.

I see Oakland is way down on what was already pitiful attendance. Send em back to Philly!

Weather effects as well? Was unseasonably warm in many baseball parks these first two weeks, esp. opening week IIRC.
