Team Inning Scoring - Baseball-Reference.com.

Per a user suggestion, I've added an NL and AL option to the run scoring summary tool in the Play Index.

Oooh, nice! Any chance you could add a home/road split?

  2. Jim Says:

Im probably just missing something simple but how can there be more comeback wins than losses? Same thing for walk off wins and walk off losses

I'm not sure what you're referring to, Jim, but might it have to do with interleague play?

  4. Jim Says:

Even if interleague play is included, the sum of all wins and the sum of all losses of ALL teams in both leagues must be equal. Therefore, if one team has a walk off win, another must have a walk off loss (obviously, you cant have a walk off win without beating another team), so the numbers must always be equal. Unless I'm missing something

    Jim,

They balance, the NL is 66-63 and the AL is 43-46. In interleague the NL had three more walk off wins than the AL.

I did not realize the stats were only for the national league. Told you I was missing something simple. Thanks for the clarification
