Biographical Information[edit]

Ryan Adams was signed by the Baltimore Orioles and scout Mike Tullier as a second rounder in 2006. His big league career comprised 29 games with the 2011 O's, batting .281/.333/.326 in 89 at bats. After the 2012 season, he was suspended for 25 games by Major League Baseball for testing positive for amphetamines. He was again suspended in July 2014 after seeing action in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization, this time for 100 games, for a similar violation. The Dodgers had released him from their Double A affiliate one week prior, and the suspension would take effect once he signed with another team. He never did.
