No shortage of interesting games tonight

Let's see. We have:
- ...Dontrelle Willis making his 3rd start for the Diamondbacks. So far he's walked 10 batters in 10 innings but yielded only 2 earned runs.
- ...Armando Galarraga opposing Willis in that game.
- ...the Mets and Yankees renewing their rivalry.
- ...Stephen Strasburg making his 3rd career start.
- ...Carlos Silva and Derek Lowe going for their 9th win of the season.
- ...Felix Doubrant making his major-league debut for the Red Sox. He's opposed by Carlos Monasterios of the Dodgers, and both pitchers were born in Venezuela.
Any else? Oh yeah--Manny Ramirez is playing his first game against the Red Sox since being traded away 2 years ago.
Plus lots of other interesting matchups...

Hmm...Mets versus Yankees -- who to root for.
I haven't had a choice like this since the election of '72. I think I will go the same route; is there any way both teams can lose?

The Manny thing is all over the place. I hope he gets booed, but I kind of hope all Dodgers get booed, so...

I'm a Tiger fan but I don't wish Dontrelle any ill will so I hope be beat him but he still pitches OK...
And if I were a BoSox fan, Manny would get an earful from me all night long

Jim Thome just got a standing ovation batting for the pitcher in what may have been his first regular season return to Philadelphia since being traded. He walked on a 3-2 count.
(Joe Blanton had a no-hitter [but not a perfect game] through 4; the first hit off him, in the 5th, was a triple in which the batter was out trying to stretch it into an inside-the-park home run. He and Jamie Moyer, who beat the Yankees on Wednesday, seem to have recovered from those awful starts in Boston last week.)
